°ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ President and CEO Retires, Names Replacement
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ announces that Patrick Garman, President and CEO of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳, is retiring at the end of 2023. Mr. Jeff Trang has been named as his successor, effective December 15th.
Pat has served °ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ on the Board of Trustees since 2012 and was selected to serve as the Chief Marketing Officer in 2019. Pat was later promoted to President & CEO in 2022, following the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ acquisition of Flight Research International (FRI). Pat is retiring to his home in Gig Harbor, WA with his wife Kathy. He will continue to serve °ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ as the incoming Chairman of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ Board of Trustees, replacing Mr. Tom Morgenfeld, who is retiring after 12 years’ service on the Board, 11 of which as Board Chair.
A Fellow in the Society of Experimental Test Pilots, Jeff joined °ÄÃÅÁùºÏÕ¾¸ßÊÖÂÛ̳ as the Chief Marketing Officer in May 2023 following his retirement from Airbus Helicopters, Inc. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, Jeff served as an experimental test pilot and master aviator in the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 2004 before joining the FAA. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M, and an MS in Systems Engineering from SMU. He resides in Lancaster with his wife, Dianna.
